Two men charged over Gedling Sainsbury's robbery


Two men have been charged with robbery following a raid on a Sainsbury's store in Nottingham.

Two men went into the shop in Arnold Lane, Gedling, at about 1920 GMT on 13 November.

Once inside one of the robbers threatened staff with a metal bar and demanded money from the till. They left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The men, aged 36 and 38, will appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 2 December, police said.
