A wind farm in Nottinghamshire is being officially opened.
The five turbines - each 125m tall at the highest tip - have been built at Lindhurst Farm at Rainworth, near Mansfield.
The firm behind the facility, RWE npower renewables, predicted they will generate nine megawatts of electricity, enough to power almost 5,500 homes.
Initially the plans provoked opposition from some residents but the parish council said views were now "mixed".
Mark Buttery, chairman of the parish council, said: "Personally I feel they are in the wrong place and do not give anything to Rainworth.
"But across the board people have mixed opinions about them."
A spokesman for npower said: "This is an unmanned site and the turbines require very little maintenance.
"The turbines are quite self sufficient. Twice a year the service teams will come on site and carry out a service, exactly like a car."
