Nottingham police link knifepoint robberies in Arnold


Police in Nottingham are linking two robberies in the Arnold area in which couples were threatened with a knife.

Late on Thursday night, a 50-year-old man and his wife had a wallet and handbag stolen in Goodwood Avenue by two men with a knife.

In the early hours of Sunday a 61-year-old man and his wife had their wallet and handbag taken by two men with a knife in Redhill Street.

Both male victims suffered minor injuries after being hit on the head.

The robbers are described as white, aged 18 to 25 and between 5ft 6ins (1.7m) and 6ft (1.8m) tall.
