Teenagers arrested over bus stone attack in Nottingham


Three teenagers have been arrested after a stone was thrown at a bus smashing a window as it travelled through Nottingham.

The bus, which was carrying passengers, was at the junction of Mansfield Road and Mapperley Hall Drive on Wednesday afternoon.

A 66-year-old woman suffered minor injuries when glass fell on her.

Two boys and one girl, all aged 17, were arrested on suspicion of common assault and criminal damage.

The girl was released without charge while the two boys were bailed pending further inquiries.
