Bid to trace car after gunshot incident in St Ann's

Police investigating a shooting in Nottingham are trying to trace a car which is thought to have belonged to the gunman.

Two shots were fired towards a group of people who were standing outside a shop in Wells Road, St Ann's, on 30 August.

Officers believe the shots were fired from a silver Ford Puma, which was then driven towards Woodborough Road

They want anyone with information on the vehicle to come forward. No-one was injured in the incident.

A 20-year-old man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with the incident has been released on police bail.
