Two arrested following Hucknall street attack

A 25-year-old man and a girl, 16, have been arrested on suspicion of assault after a woman was attacked in Nottinghamshire.

The attack happened on High Street, Hucknall, in the early hours of Saturday.

The woman, 18, suffered a broken collarbone and injuries to her face. She was taken to hospital for treatment and has now been released.

The man and girl were arrested shortly after the incident.

Man assaulted

They were questioned and released on police bail pending further inquiries.

Detectives investigating the attack have are also investigating an alleged assault on a man in High Street around the same time.

They have been unable to trace the man and have appealed for him to contact them.

They also want to speak to anyone who witnessed the attacks or who knows the man who was assaulted.
