Northampton snowballers attack man for telling them off

A man was attacked by a group of four teenage boys after telling them off for throwing snowballs at passing cars.

He was punched in the face and subjected to a "sustained assault" at about 13:00 GMT in Collyweston Road, Northampton, on Sunday. He required hospital treatment.

Police said the four boys, all about 15 years of age, turned on the man when he warned them they were "causing a hazard to passing vehicles".

Officers want to trace the attackers.
