Three flood warnings have been issued in Northamptonshire after heavy rain left standing water in many areas.

The Environment Agency warnings are for the River Jordan, in Braybrooke and Little Bowden, the River Ise, in Clipston, and Cogenhoe Caravan Site.

Some roads have also been closed in the county following the rain.

Northamptonshire Police have advised motorists on the M1 and A14 to take extra precaution.

In Corby, Gainsborough Road is closed and the roads into and out of Pytchley village, near Kettering, are both flooded.

Drivers have told BBC Northampton that there are problems on roads around Long Buckby, Daventry, Isham, Bugbrooke, Tiffield, Roade and Geddington.
