Attack on Northampton woman treated as racist


The attack on a woman in Northampton is being treated by police as racially-motivated.

The attack happened at an address in Milton Street North, Kingsley, at about 2200 on Tuesday 2 November.

A group of boys or young men went to the property and confronted the victim, a 39-year-old woman, saying they wanted to see her son.

The woman was then assaulted and subjected to verbal abusive and racist comments.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Northamptonshire Police.
