Man arrested over cash found at property in Corby


A man has been arrested after police found a large amount of cash at a property in Northamptonshire.

Officers carrying out a raid at a house in Babbage Crescent, Corby, found what is estimated to be between £70,000 and £100,000 in cash.

Police were working under Operation Guardian, a crackdown on car crime, robbery and burglary in the county.

A 36-year-old from Corby was arrested on suspicion of money laundering offences and released on bail.
