Hunt for 'injured' sex attacker in Northampton

A man being sought by police for a sexual assault in Northamptonshire may have an injured face after being kicked by the victim, police say.

A woman was walking past the Education and Youth Services building, towards Towcester Road, Northampton, early on Thursday when a man attacked her.

The victim struck out, ran to Towcester Road and got a taxi.

The man is described as having black hair with one dreadlock on either side of his head.

He is believed to be in his mid 20s, has light black skin and green or brown eyes and is of average build.

He was wearing a black top with the hood up and a black scarf covering the bottom half of his face.

The attack happened between 0430 BST and 0500 BST.
