Norfolk tractor chase: Nathan Lovell appears in court

A 25-year-old man has appeared in court after a stolen tractor was chased across two counties by six police cars and a helicopter.

The vehicle was taken from a farm at Tilney St Lawrence, near King's Lynn, Norfolk, on Saturday evening and abandoned in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire.

Nathan Lovell, of Walpole Highway, near Wisbech, is facing four charges including failing to stop for police.

He has yet to plead and is due at Norwich Crown Court on 15 February.

Mr Lovell, of Trinity Road, is also charged with aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving and driving without insurance.

He appeared before Norwich Magistrates' Court.

Police officers from Norfolk and Cambridgeshire were involved in Saturday's chase.
