Great Yarmouth fire deaths: Woman was stabbed in neck

A woman who was found dead following a house blaze in Norfolk had been stabbed in the neck, police said.

The bodies of Mariama Njie-Jallow, 37, and Mbye Jallow, 56, were found inside a house on Admiralty Road, Great Yarmouth, on Sunday afternoon.

A post-mortem examination revealed Ms Njie-Jallow died from a stab wound with Mr Jallow dying from smoke inhalation.

Norfolk Police are keen to speak to any witnesses who may have seen what happened before or during the fire.

Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths and have described what happened as a "domestic incident".
