Barclays blowtorch bank raid: Norfolk man charged

A 60-year-old man has been charged after bank staff in Norfolk were allegedly threatened with a blowtorch.

Derek Tubby, from Rollesby, near Great Yarmouth, is accused of affray and possession of an offensive weapon.

Police were called to the Barclays branch in Acle on Monday afternoon after reports a man had threatened staff. No one was hurt in the incident.

Mr Tubby will appear in custody at Great Yarmouth Magistrates' Court later.
