Mother and daughter died in A47 crash

A 19-year-old driver and her mother died in a crash after she lost control of her car in hazardous driving conditions, an inquest has found.

Antonia Huizar and Billie-Jean Roberts, 48, of Little Fransham, died at the scene of the crash on the A47 near Hockering, which involved her Ford Ka and a Mercedes.

Assistant coroner Jacqueline Lake said the crash was an accident.

She said no blame could be attributed to the Mercedes driver.

The hearing was told there was severe rain and sleet at the time of the crash.

Ms Lake offered her sympathy to Ms Huizar's father Tony Carter, who attended the inquest in Norwich.
