A fourth man has been arrested in connection with a suspicious device found under a car in the Norfolk village of Buxton in September.

The man, in his 30s, from Norwich, was arrested on suspicion of offences under the Explosives Act on Thursday and remains in police custody.

Norfolk Police has been searching a house in Middletons Lane, Hellesdon, as part of its investigation.

Officers have reassured neighbours they are not in any danger.

In November, Jonathan Taylor, 49, of Southwell Road, Norwich, pleaded not guilty at Norwich Crown Court to a charge of doing an act with intent to cause an explosion likely to endanger life. He is due to stand trial in February.

A 35-year-old man arrested in connection with the incident will face no further action while a 25-year-old remains on police bail.
