Norwich City 'racist' tweet under police investigation

A reported "racist" Twitter comment made during Norwich City's 1-1 draw with Everton is being investigated, police have said.

The comment was allegedly aimed at the Canaries' Sebastien Bassong after he scored a late equaliser on Saturday.

Norfolk Police confirmed an offensive tweet had been reported and officers were looking into it.

Norwich City's chief executive David McNally said the club would act against any racist abuse.
