Norfolk death leads to police watchdog investigation

The police watchdog is investigating Norfolk police's contact with a man found dead with gunshot wounds in a hotel car park.

Officers arrived at Briarfields Hotel, Titchwell, at 13:50 GMT on Sunday to find the body of the 60-year-old.

Norfolk police said it had referred itself to the Independent Police Complaints Commission "due to previous police contact".

Officers are not looking for anybody else in connection with the death.
