A man has been recaptured by Lincolnshire police seven days after he escaped from a Norfolk court.

Police stopped Riki McGrath, 22, from Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, in a car on the A17 at Sutton Bridge at about 16:20 BST on 8 October.

He had escaped from King's Lynn Magistrates' Court on 1 October.

On Tuesday he returned to the court and was charged with dangerous driving and escaping police custody. He did not enter a plea.

Mr McGrath will appear at King's Lynn Crown Court on 23 October.
