Men held over pigs theft at Norfolk farm bailed

Two men, arrested after 145 piglets were taken from a Norfolk farm, have been released on bail.

The pigs were taken after a vehicle forced its way into a farm in Great Cressingham between 14:00 BST on Sunday and 07:15 on Monday.

A 38-year-old from the Dereham area and a 59-year-old from the King's Lynn area were arrested on suspicion of theft.

The arrested men have been released on police bail until 1 August.

Each piglet stolen at the farm, near Swaffham, weighed about 8kg (17lb 10oz).
