Man arrested after woman found dead at Norfolk campsite

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a woman was found at a holiday park in Norfolk.

Police are investigating after the woman, in her 30s, was found dead at Clippesby Hall, near Great Yarmouth.

The body of the woman, who is not believed to be local, was discovered in a tent at about 0845 BST on Tuesday.

A man in his 30s has been arrested and is being questioned by officers from the joint Norfolk and Suffolk Major Investigation Team (MIT).

Police said they believed the couple were known to each other and are not looking for anyone else in connection with the death.

Anyone with information regarding the last known movements of the couple is asked to contact Norfolk and Suffolk MIT or Crimestoppers.
