Knife recovered in Great Yarmouth murder inquiry

Detectives investigating the death of a man in Great Yarmouth have recovered a knife from a beach.

Latvian Vladimir Adamavics, 21, died in a property in Euston Road on Sunday after being stabbed.

A member of the public alerted officers to the knife found close to Britannia Pier at about 1500 GMT.

The knife is believed to be the weapon used in the attack. A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of murder following the incident.

He remains in police custody and is being questioned by officers from the joint Norfolk and Suffolk Major Investigation Team.
