Biker killed and two girls injured in Stalham accident


A motorcyclist has died and two 15-year-old girls have been injured in a road traffic accident in Norfolk.

Emergency services were called to Yarmouth Road, Stalham, at about 1500 GMT after a car and a motorcycle were involved in a collision.

As a result of the crash the motorcycle mounted the pavement and hit the two girls.

Both have been taken to hospital, one with a suspected broken leg and one with minor injuries.

The male motorcyclist, who has not been named, died at the scene. The car driver was uninjured.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or either vehicle prior to the collision.
