Two killed and six injured in Norfolk crash

Two people have been killed and six others injured in a collision between two cars in Norfolk.

The Vauxhall Zafira and Ford Puma collided at the junction of the B1114 and North Lopham Road in East Harling at about 1030 GMT, Norfolk Police said.

A man and a woman in the Ford Puma were pronounced dead at the scene. Police said two others from the car were in a critical condition in hospital.

A passenger in the Vauxhall was seriously injured.

Three others in the car suffered minor injuries. One of those in a critical condition is being treated at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.

The other was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, along with the Vauxhall passenger who was described as being in a serious condition.

Three air ambulances, four ambulances and three rapid response vehicles attended the crash, which happened between Garboldisham and Kenninghall.

Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
