Main route in Norwich closes for resurfacing work

A main commuter road into Norwich that also links the city centre with the general hospital is to be blocked off for 10 days for resurfacing.

Earlham Road is closed for the duration of the work between Convent Road just off the inner ring road to the junction of Colman Road on the outer ring road.

Work will normally take place between 0700 GMT until 1900 GMT and no parking will be available between these times.

The road is closed to all through traffic and diversions are in place.

"Vehicle access will be maintained for residents and businesses and pedestrian access past the works will be maintained at all times," a city council spokeswoman said.
