Thieves take 3,500 litres of diesel in Norfolk

Thieves have stolen 3,500 litres of diesel from a property in a Norfolk village.

The diesel was stolen from a house in Smallburgh between the afternoon of Thursday 21 October and the morning of Wednesday 27 October.

A Norfolk Police spokesman appealed for anyone who had seen anything suspicious in the area at the time of the theft.

Ch Insp Neil Baily said: "This is about people protecting one another... oil is an expensive commodity".
