A privately sponsored academy has moved into its new purpose-built site in Norwich.

The Open Academy in Heartsease opened in September 2008, using the buildings of the former Heartsease High School.

Its new home was built in the same grounds and opened to pupils for the first time earlier.

The academy is sponsored by businessman and prominent Christian Graham Dacre and the Bishop of Norwich, the Ret Rev Graham James.
