Delay warning over A47 fatal crash tests in Norwich
Motorists have been warned to expect delays on the A47 in Norwich while police reconstruct a seven-vehicle crash in which a woman died.
Elizabeth Bird, 52, from Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire, died in the collision near the A146 slip road on 10 July.
She was the front-seat passenger in a Ford Mondeo, the first of seven vehicles involved.
Tests will be carried out between 1100 and 1200 BST on Thursday.
The Serious Collision Investigation Team will carry out a partial reconstruction and tests with a vehicle.
It will mean the placement of a rolling restriction between the A11 Newmarket Road and A146 Trowse slip roads, Yarmouth-bound.
The tests will not mean the closure of the road but police said there could be some minor delays and congestion whilst the tests were carried out.
PC Keith Wiseman, who is investigating the incident, wants to hear from the driver of a 4X4 vehicle towing a caravan on the A47 Yarmouth-bound, which may have broken down and stopped just before the crash.
