St Helens stabbing: Woman charged with murder

A woman has been charged with murdering a man who was stabbed to death in St Helens, police have said.

Mireslaw Kowalczuk, 29, was fatally stabbed in the chest at a house on Cross Farm Road in Peasley Cross on Tuesday evening.

Merseyside Police said he died in an ambulance on the way to hospital.

Thirty-four-year-old Karolina Rutkowska has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Liverpool Magistrates' Court on Friday.
