Paul Groom death: Man charged with murder

A man has been charged with murdering a 48-year-old who died from head injuries.

Paul Groom, 48, died in hospital on 10 December after he was found at his home in Fazakerley, Liverpool, earlier in the week.

A post-mortem examination found Mr Groom, originally from Wrexham, died from blunt force trauma to the head.

Michael Hill, 32, of Oakdale Close, Kirkby, will appear before Liverpool and Knowsley magistrates on Monday.
