A man has been charged with murder over the death of a charity volunteer.

Victor Alexandrov Maroukian died after being injured at Remar UK, a Christian charity furniture shop on Aigburth Road, Liverpool, on Wednesday.

The 36-year-old from Salford was "a man with strong Christian beliefs", who had volunteered for five years and "always" wanted to help, his family said.
