Richie Bratin death: Man held over Walton 'hit-and-run'

A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a man was killed in a suspected hit-and-run crash in Liverpool.

Richie Bratin, 51, died after being hit by a silver Ford Focus on Richard Kelly Drive, Walton, on Friday evening.

The car was found abandoned less than half a mile away in Sandyville Grove on Saturday morning.

A 27-year-old man, from Norris Green, has been taken to a police station on Merseyside to be interviewed.

A 21-year-old woman, also from Norris Green, has been charged with assisting an offender in connection with Mr Bratin's death.
