A man stabbed in a Liverpool city centre bar is in a stable condition in hospital, police have said.

Merseyside Police believe he was involved in a row with another man at The Peacock, Seel Street, on Saturday.

The 20-year-old victim, from Liverpool, suffered cuts to his back, chest and arm.

Detectives say the offender was helped by another man and believe they may have been known by the victim. They appealed for witnesses to get in touch.
