Lomax nightclub: Former boss admits drug offences

The former manager of the Lomax nightclub, which was closed in a police raid, has admitted drug offences.

Frank Hedges, 50, of Huyton, admitted being concerned in the supply of drugs and supplying drugs at Liverpool Crown Court.

Police found seven bags of cannabis and some cocaine in the raid at the Lomax club on 14 February.

Andrew Mayberry, 36, Mark St Angelo, 39 and James Green, 19, also admitted supplying drugs.

Lomax remains shut after its licence was revoked by Liverpool City Council.

Conspiracy charges against Mayberry, St Angelo and Hedges were withdrawn.

Charges were not proceeded with against Daniel Edwards, 29, of Huskisson Street, Toxteth.

The four men, all from Liverpool, will be sentenced in August.
