Armed police arrest man in Tuebrook over 'threats to kill'
Armed police surrounded a house in Liverpool amid reports of a man armed with a knife making threats to kill.
Officers were called to Moscow Drive in Tuebrook at about 17:00 GMT on Tuesday and remained there for more than four hours.
They entered the house at about 21:30 GMT, searched the building, and arrested a 35-year-old man.
No-one was injured and the man was held on suspicion of making threats to kill.
A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "The property will remain cordoned off for the time being whilst further enquiries are carried out and officers will remain in the area to reassure the local community."
