St John Bosco Arts College Croxteth opens £18m building
Students at an all-girls school in Liverpool are starting term in a new £18m building.
Original plans to re-build St John Bosco Arts College in Croxteth were scrapped when the Building Schools for the Future scheme was dropped in 2010.
Liverpool City Council then agreed to invest in the school as part of an £169m scheme to rebuild 12 schools in the city and invest in several others.
The new building includes dance and drama studios and a fitness suite.
There is also a learning resource centre and terrace which will accommodate full year groups so they can hold assemblies, view performances and attend lectures.
