A man has died after being thrown from his motorcycle in a crash in Liverpool, police have said.

Lee Quinn, 41, of Fazakerley, was in a collision with two cars on Walton Road just before 18:00 BST on Sunday.

He was taken to Fazakerley Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police believe he hit a grey Ford Mondeo taxi and a silver Toyota Yaris before coming off the bike, which then hit a black Audi TT.

A 50-year-old passenger in the Yaris suffered a cut to his chin, but all the other car drivers and passengers were uninjured.

Officers are asking for anyone who saw the white Suzuki motorbike being driven in the Warbreck Moor, Rice Lane or County Road areas beforehand, or witnessed the crash, to contact them.
