Teenager in Liverpool city centre fourth floor flat fall

A 19-year-old man was left seriously injured after falling from a fourth floor balcony in Liverpool city centre.

Merseyside Police said the man was found on Hanover Street around 03:45 BST on Saturday.

A spokesman added that a short time afterwards four women, aged 17 to 19, were arrested on suspicion of drug offences as officers investigated the fall.

The man's injuries are not said to be life-threatening.
