Terry Brown: Man bailed over cyclist's death

A 38-year-old man suspected of causing the death of a cyclist in a hit-and-run collision has been bailed.

The man, from Great Sankey, Warrington, Cheshire, was arrested on Tuesday night on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Cyclist Terry Brown, 47, was found in Warrington Road, Bold Heath, near Widnes, at about 06:40 GMT.

Police believe a vehicle was in collision with his racing bike but did not stop.

A post-mortem examination found Mr Brown, of Great Sankey, died of a head injury.
