The Brink non-alcohol bar opens for adults in Liverpool
An alcohol-free bar has opened in Liverpool city centre to help people recovering from drink and drug addiction.
The Brink is a social enterprise on Parr Street, where 75% of the staff are recovering alcoholics or drug addicts.
All the profits from the bar will be given to rehabilitation programmes.
Venue manager Carl Alderdice said: "The concept is about integration between the recovery community and the general public.
"We had an extremely busy opening weekend with a good mix of people and I'm absolutely confident that people will come back."
