Murder charge after Manchester woodland body find

A man has been charged with murder after a body was found in woodland.

Jiri Ulman, 52, had suffered "multiple serious injuries", before his body was discovered near Ten Acres Lane in Newton Heath, Manchester, on Tuesday.

Josef Janda, 57, of Kenyon Lane, Moston, appeared before magistrates and was remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Crown Court on Wednesday.

A 60-year-old woman held on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released while inquiries continue.
