Abdul Hafidah: 13 charged in Moss Side murder probe

A 14-year-old boy and 12 other people have been charged with the murder of an 18-year-old man in the Moss Side area of Manchester, police have said.

Abdul Hafidah was stabbed after he was hit by a car on Moss Lane East on 12 May and died later in hospital.

Police believe Mr Hafidah was chased near Greenheys Lane before being struck by a Vauxhall Corsa and then stabbed.

All of those charged, aged between 14 and 29, are due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court later.
