Newton Heath fire attack: Brother charged with woman's murder
A man has been charged with the murder of his sister, who was set on fire in an attack at her Manchester home.
Police believe the 49-year-old victim was doused with petrol before she was set alight on Monday.
She died in hospital days after being airlifted from the property in Surbiton Road, Newton Heath, with 70% burns.
Her brother Stephen Archer, 50, is charged with murder and arson with intent to endanger life.
Greater Manchester Police said he would appear before the city's magistrates' court on Monday.
