Four men have been charged following the seizure of 104kg of drugs.

They were arrested after 80kg of ecstasy were found at a Berkshire freight warehouse last October.

The consignment was destined for an address in Stockport, where officers found another 24kg of ecstasy, ketamine and cannabis at a storage unit.

Three men, aged 32, 39 and 41, were arrested in Manchester and Tameside on Tuesday, while a 53-year-old man was also charged on Wednesday.

All have been charged with drugs offences and are due to appear before Manchester Magistrates on Thursday.

The investigation, conducted by the National Crime Agency with Greater Manchester Police, focused on an alleged plot to import drugs and also involved searches at a number of homes in Wythenshawe.
