Police investigating a 25-year-old woman's crash death on the M62 believe they have found a potential witness.

Detectives issued an appeal earlier to trace the driver of a white transit-style van.

Joetta Shumba was in a grey Audi S3 that collided with a lorry travelling westbound between the Eccles Interchange and junction 11 on 24 January.

A man, 29, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

The lorry overturned in the crash and the road was closed for more than 11 hours.

PC Paul Joynson, of Greater Manchester Police, said: "We have had a great response from the public and we believe we have now spoken to the driver of the white van."
