Man charged over woman's fatal stabbing in Salford

A man has been charged with murder after a woman was stabbed to death in Greater Manchester.

The body of 36-year-old Sian Roberts was found at a property in St Helier's Drive, Salford, on Sunday.

A post-mortem examination found she had died from stab wounds to the chest.

Glynn Williams, 52, of no fixed address, has been charged with murder and is due before Manchester and Salford City Magistrates' Court later, police said.
