Tram 'abuse' video: Teenagers arrested in Greater Manchester
Four teenagers have been arrested after a video posted online showed girls allegedly abusing two Muslim passengers on a tram in Greater Manchester.
The married couple were travelling with their young child on the Metrolink between Shaw and Manchester at about 15:30 BST on 12 June, police said.
Footage of the incident has been seen on Facebook more than 1.1m times.
Four girls aged between 16 and 18 are being held on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence.
Greater Manchester Police said they were continuing enquiries "to identify and arrest the other offenders".
