Three hurt after 4x4 crashes in to Manchester building site

Three men have been injured after the Mercedes 4x4 they were in crashed through a fence and dropped 25 ft (7m) on to a building site in Manchester.

It happened at the junction of Miller Street and Corporation Street near Victoria Station at 06:00 GMT.

A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

He was treated in hospital with two men, both aged 26.

Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, police said.
