Large blaze at Bury powder coating factory

About 30 firefighters have been tackling a large blaze at a factory in Bury overnight.

Fire broke out at the powder coating factory on Mitchell Street, Tottington, at about 21:00 GMT on Thursday.

A Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said teams prevented it spreading, with flames seen "from quite a distance".

One crew remains at the scene, with the cause of the fire under investigation. No-one is thought to have been injured.
