Attempted murder arrest after Oldham car shooting

A 35-year-old man has been arrested after two men were shot while they were sitting in a car in Greater Manchester.

The men, aged 19 and 20, were in a Seat Leon on Radcliffe Street, Oldham, on Sunday evening when a man approached and started talking to them.

He then shot one in the abdomen and one in the buttocks before walking away.

The man, arrested in an apartment off Holland Road, Crumpsall, is being held on suspicion of two counts of attempted murder and possession of a firearm.

Greater Manchester Police said he remains in custody for questioning.
